Michael Avila is Director of Development at Magical Elves developing original unscripted series for broadcast, linear, and streaming platforms. Prior to Magical Elves, he spent nearly 5 years in unscripted production and development at NBCUniversal working with the teams at Oxygen, E!, and Bravo. Across his career he's contributed to hit series including Top Chef, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, New York City & Orange County, Botched, and Vanderpump Rules. During his time at E! he developed various docu-series and formats in the pop culture space.

Michael is originally from Northern California and graduated with a B.A. from UCLA and an M.A. from NYU.
