Dan Murphy is the Chief Operating Officer at Magical Elves where he oversees Physical Production for the company. Murphy joined Magical Elves as Vice President of Production in 2008.

 

Murphy has Produced or overseen Production on over a thousand hours of television across all Unscripted categories for the major Networks, Cable and New Media Streaming Services including:  “Nailed It!” and “Sugar Rush” (Netflix), “Top Chef,” “Project Runway,” and “Work of Art” (Bravo), “Project Greenlight” (HBO), “Cold Justice” and “In Defense Of” (Oxygen), “The Real L Word” and “Time of Death” (Showtime), “Fashion Star” and “America’s Next Great Restaurant” (NBC), “Three” (CBS), “Parental Discretion” (Nickelodeon), “Braxton Family Values” (WEtv), “The Osbournes” and “Making the Band” (MTV), and “Fan Club” (VH1).

 

Murphy began his career at MTV Networks Line Producing some of their most successful shows of the early 2000’s before becoming VP of West Coast Production where he oversaw many more of their biggest hits.
